ONE WORD REVIEW: SWEET
Hilariously funny and so terribly cute at the same time. The most lovable character you’ll ever meet, who faces daily racism living as a young Pakistani boy in Luton. His only saviour seems to be Bruce Springsteen, whose music he listens to daily with his Sikh friend. With the confidence that Bruce gives him, Javed pursues his writing career, and even finds a girlfriend, much to the dislike of his strict father. The film shows a fictionalised version of the true story of Javed, who has now seen 150 Bruce Springsteen shows in his life and has even met the man himself. Full of some classic Springsteen hits, this film is sure to lighten up the dark period of isolation.
