ONE WORD REVIEW: FUN
Jon Favreau stars in and directs this feel-good family film, playing a brilliant but unsuccessful chef who changes his life plan after being in the public eye for a negative reason. His ex-wife (Sofia Vergara) and him have a lovely son who helps him find himself, as does his girlfriend and co-worker (Scarlett Johansson). There are many moments which feel too cringe to be on screen, and it is interesting that Favreau cast two beautiful women to be his current and past lovers. That aside, it is pretty impossible not to have a smile on your face at the end of this movie, with a simple plot structure, and loveable characters.
