Pulp Fiction (1994)

ONE WORD REVIEW: CLEVER

Moments of humour, moments of shock, moments of horror, and moments of reality. Tarantino manages to make sense of each of these moments in a naturalistic setting of LA. Although Travolta steals the show, Tarantino’s appearance after a rather gory moment provokes a smile among audiences. Terrifically clever with a non-linear narrative that is surprisingly easy to follow, ‘Pulp Fiction’ challenges how films should and could be made. Long film of nearly three hours, without a moment that feels wasted unclear; a complete masterpiece of our time that deserves to be watched and appreciated by all.
