5/5
ONE WORD REVIEW: WITTY
The second season does not disappoint and is, in fact, almost better than the first. With a hot priest, more from the brilliant stepmother and sister, as well as new performances from Kristen Scott Thomas and Fiona Shaw, there is nothing to not like. A laugh-out-loud kind of funny, picking up on tiny details of everyday life which usually go unnoticed. It also shows some quite sad moments, not only do we love Fleabag, but we also feel sorry for her. The show itself, both seasons that is, have a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is remarkable for such a young writer. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a figure to be watched and admired over the next few years, not only for her marvellous acting in ‘Fleabag’ but her innovative writing style.
