Goodfellas (1990)

5/5

ONE WORD REVIEW: INGENIOUS

Without a doubt, 'Goodfellas' is one of the best movies of all time. From the concept to the screenplay itself, it is no surprise that the film won the best film at the BAFTAs. Martin Scorsese’s direction is like no other; he engages audiences in an iconic piece of cinema, following the story of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta), from a young boy to gangster. The acting is second to none, gripping audiences, and making it near impossible to look away from the screen. With something for everyone, including romance, violence, and a fascinating plot, ‘Goodfellas’ is well-filmed, and a truly inspiring piece in cinematic history.
