ONE WORD REVIEW: TERRIFYING

Director Anthony Maras documents the 2008 terrorist attack on Mumbai, focussing on the situation at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, with a fictional storyline focussing on a couple, their baby and their nanny, a rich Russian, a chef and a waiter. The cast is incredible, with Dev Patel at its centre, and Armie Hammer, Anupam Kher, Jason Isaacs and Nazanin Boniadi portraying the terror and sadness of the long night realistically. The film is terribly upsetting and will have audiences on the edge of their seat throughout. A must-see, remaining respectful of those who lost their lives on that terrible night in 2008.
