ONE WORD REVIEW: WEIRD

Christopher Nolan’s direction is nearly always iconic, but his 2010 movie just doesn’t hit quite the same as his others. This is majorly down to the script, which attempts to be clever, but is, instead, at times, confusing. The numerous YouTube videos under the name ‘ending of Inception explained’, supports this point. This may be an old-fashioned opinion, but surely audiences should understand a movie without such videos, after investing two and a half hours of time into it. Despite the unfortunate elements of the script, the acting is superb, carried by the talented Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Ellen Page. Good, but not as good as people make it out to be.
