4/5
ONE WORD REVIEW: GOOD
Tarantino originally wanted there to be only one ‘volume’ of Kill Bill, but the length of the film was considered too long not to be shown in two versions. The second volume, fortunately, does not share the same introductory sequence as the first, and there is the same amount of violence, however less of a combination of genres. Thurman’s character is finally named, and the reason behind her attempted murder is explored, as are her relationships with her former colleagues. It is delightful and engaging throughout, mainly due the questions that are finally answered from the first volume. Beautifully filmed, a must see.
