ONE WORD REVIEW: MESMIRISING
The well-known detective (Daniel Craig) investigates the death of famous writer (Christopher Plummer), who supposedly committed suicide after hosting a family party at his house. At the party were the families of his daughter, and his two sons, as well as his carer, Marta (Ana de Armas). Marta is chosen to aid the detective in his investigation, and as she is named the sole heiress of the writer’s fortune, much to the family’s dismay. The film is simply magnificent, with excellent direction from an excellent screenplay. The acting as well is superb, and truly deserves every kind of recognition.
