ONE WORD REVIEW: BEAUTIFUL
A film to brighten any mood. Beautifully directed and adapted by the outstanding Greta Gurwig, and unbelievably acted, with standout performances from Laura Dern, Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, and Timothée Chalamet. Unfortunately, Emma Watson’s American accent goes into English at the end of some words. But, that aside, genuinely one of the most feel-good films ever made. It is so disappointing that Gurwig was not praised for her work on this beautiful movie at the Oscar’s this year, as she gives Louisa May-Alcott’s classic a modern twist. So good! A family film despite being categorised as ‘feminine,’ well deserving of every hype.
