ONE WORD REVIEW: COMPLICATED
Edward Norton directed and acted in ‘Motherless Brookyn’, which follows a private detective who suffers from Tourettes as he seeks to discover the reason behind the murder of his only friend, Frank Minna, played by Bruce Willis. Set in New York in the 1950s, during his research, he finds out much information around corruption in the jazz clubs in Harlem and Brooklyn, and even unexpectedly finds a love interest. Norton’s acting is superb, as is Alec Baldwin’s as a clear villain. The story itself is rather complicated and requires more concentration than the average movie.
