5/5 ONE WORD REVIEW: SUPERB Parasite follows a loveable family living in a small, underground apartment in South Korea. They manipulate a wealthy family into hiring them by finding hilarious methods to remove those currently employed. Expected of a Bong Joon-ho film, the movie is full of numerous twists and turns, and multiple genres mixed together. The ending is entirely unexpected, and the movie is utterly deserving of all of its Academy Awards. As Bong Joon-ho himself said, “Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.” This is undoubtedly one of those amazing films.
