ONE WORD REVIEW: ENGAGING
Following the life of Richard Jewell, a security guard who discovered the bomb placed in Centennial Park during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the film offers a sympathetic approach towards the simple man who was then accused by the Media and investigated by the FBI of planting the bomb. While showcasing profound acting talent, the movie will have audiences giggling and tearing up. The narrative is told and shows the raw emotion developed by the sudden, unwarranted media attention, as a ‘hero’ turned ‘bomber’. The movie is nothing less than brilliant and challenges the sad history of a man who deserves an apology.
