ONE WORD REVIEW: SCARY

A futuristic film from the director of ‘Parasite,’ set on a train that holds the last remaining humans after a means to combat climate change freezes the world. Chris Evans plays the lower-class Curtis who lives at the back of the train and leads the rebellion against those of a higher class to him, such as Tilda Swinton’s character Mason. Kang-Ho Song and John Hurt help Curtis, during his engaging and slightly terrifying journey. The film continues to shock throughout, as we discover not only more about the train’s different compartments but also the somewhat spiritual leader of the train. Slightly close to home with the Earth’s current situation regarding global warming; however, Bong Joon-Ho offers a remarkable film showcasing extreme directing talent which was recognised at this year’s Oscars.
