ONE WORD REVIEW: UNEXPECTED
Ben Affleck, Russell Crowe, Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren, Robin Wright, and Jason Bateman. The star-studded film constantly surprises, as two reporters investigate the death of a congressman’s mistress, leading them to investigate the congressman’s past himself. Despite their issues with the police along the way, and individual past relationships with those involved in the case. Russell Crowe won the ‘Australian Film Institute International Award for Best Actor’ for his performance in this movie adapted from the original BBC Series. The director Kevin Macdonald is helps to create a marvellous film, which is terribly dramatic, full of tense moments which are concluded in a satisfying manner.
