ONE WORD REVIEW: MARVELLOUS

Francis Ford Coppola’s classic starts of brilliantly, and just keeps getting better and better as the movie goes on. Focussing on the Corleone mafia family, as the head (Marlon Brando) fights off enemies that arise as a result of his decision to pass on the ‘business’ to his son, Michael (Al Pacino). The acting is extraordinary; their accents are superb, and each have a terrifying believability while portraying these dangerous men. It is no question that this should be named one of the best films in cinema history. One of the films that audiences can watch time and time again, and notice a different, exciting, new element each time. For example, the soundtrack to the movie fits perfectly, but can easily fall under the radar with all of the excitement that the film has to offer. Coppola keeps each scene exciting, as audiences are surprised by each new scene, which is filmed so beautifully. Everyone has to watch this film in their lifetime, as all cinema can be viewed differently after viewing.
