ONE WORD REVIEW: MAGNIFICENT

Tom Hanks stars as the Eastern European ‘Viktor Navorski’, who is stranded in the JFK airport in New York City after being told he no longer, technically, has a country. He struggles with the language, however his kind, harmless nature is challenged by the leading airport staff. Based on the real story of Mehran Karimi Nasseri, who spent 18 years living in a French airport. A film that brings about real tears, with a heart-warming narrative and terribly likeable principal character, who is portrayed brilliantly by Tom Hanks. It is difficult to dislike such a pleasant movie.
