ONE WORD REVIEW: FULL-ON

There is so much going on in this week’s National Theatre Live. Their use of physical theatre, and the entire stage space in general, is legendary. In the traverse stage, audiences on the front row sit alongside the ‘members of parliament,’ during their votes in the House of Commons. James Graham’s script explores the competitive political climate in 1974 Britain, between the Tories and the Labour Party. Experienced actors and Jeremy Herrin’s excellent direction enhance this brilliant script, allowing each element of the performance to be near perfect. So enjoyable, exhilarating, and informative, at the same time.
