Based on the true story of a serial rapist, who two detectives (Merritt Wever and Toni Collette) are determined to find, despite his cunning approach to disguise his crimes. Targeting women in ground floor apartments who live alone, it is terrifying and incredibly translated to the screen. The acting is astounding, the plot is shocking, and a real-life, current issue is explored brilliantly. As male and female detectives’ approaches are contrasted, greater issues surrounding rape are explored openly. So powerful and anger-provoking, on a subject that is quite often shied away from. 8 incredible episodes.
