ONE WORD REVIEW: CRINGE
Jack Malick goes from wannabe singer living in Suffolk with his parents to a global sensation after everyone around him forgets the Beatles’ existence. Jack sings their songs, leaving behind his loved ones, and learning that fame is not everything. The acting is awful, and Ed Sheeran’s performance should make the film better, but unfortunately worsens it. When a film has the opportunity to incorporate all of the Beatles songs into a narrative, it is a shame that storyline is so terribly awful. A waste of time to watch, and such a shame, with actors such as Lily James, and director Danny Boyle involved in its production.
